(Please note, Alliance is our co-ed program. If your player wants to participate in female-only hockey, they must register through a different system, RAMP, which is governed by the OWHA. Please visit here for our female-only hockey information.)

  • Please register early.  Registering early allows us to properly plan for our teams, including ice availability, jerseys, and coaching staff.

What is "Alliance Hockey"?  Formerly referred to as "Boys Hockey", Alliance Hockey is our co-ed program that runs under the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario and is governed by the Ontario Hockey Federation and Hockey Canada governing bodies.   Both Recreational (House League) and Rep Players register using this page.

Do you offer female-only hockey?  Yes, KMHA runs a program under the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (Referred to as OWHA programming on our website). The OWHA is governed by Hockey Canada. 

Do you offer hockey for players with Special Needs?  Yes, KMHA runs a program called Ice Pirates for players with Special Needs.

What is Spordle? Spordle is the name of the third party Hockey Canada system used for Registration.

What is the TCHL? Kitchener recreational teams will again be playing in the Tri Cities Hockey League (TCHL) for the 24/25 Season, a league which sees all recreational hockey teams in Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo play in a loop together.  For more information read HERE

My child was selected to a Rep Team during Spring tryouts.  Do I have to register?   YES!  You must register your child to participate in the 24/25 Season.
